Worship

Worship at Gethsemane Lutheran Church is about focusing on God and spending time in his presence, we are transformed, strengthened, and equipped to be better people – ultimately to be more like him and changing lives for the better. We have two Worship Services each Sunday at 8:00 and 10:30 a.m. The teaching is relevant and applicable to your everyday life. And the people are real, just like you, experiencing the same joys and struggles of life. Our worship services are for all ages and include prayers, song, Bible readings, a sermon, frequent children’s sermons, and communion. Come and join us.

During Advent (the four weeks before Christmas) and Lent (the 40 days before Easter), we also have midweek gatherings at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays. The Lent gatherings also include a soup and bread meal. We invite singers to participate in our choir and other musicians to enhance our worship services with their instruments. We invite children to offer their talents as well.

We have a variety of styles of music in our worship, including traditional, contemporary, Gospel, and classical.
