Living Birds
October 23rd and 24th we will have a flock of living parrots visiting! Visiting hours will be posted on our Facebook and Instagram as they get close so please check back frequently. Some of our visiting birds will be wearing their Halloween costumes, so please feel free to wear yours too!
Storytime
Every day at 11AM and 3PM we will have “Pumpkin Story Time”. These stories are not theologically based, and all are welcome! They are simply fun for all ages and stages. Please know we are limiting storytime to 30 participants at a time.
All of our Pumpkin Patch Staff are vaccinated and will be masked. Please see our COVID Guidelines if you have questions or call the GLC office for more information!
Pumpkin Patch
Introducing Gethsemane’s Mill Park Community Pumpkin Patch! These pumpkins are provided to Gethsemane by a trusted grower, at affordable prices. When considering bringing this pumpkin patch into the community – the community pocketbook was one of our first priorities! These pumpkins are affordable, highly reviewed and rated, and used all over the country by churches just like us to provide this same service to communities just like ours!
Trunk or Treat
Saturday October 30th, from 1-5PM we will hold our annual Trunk or Treat. This event has been a neighborhood favorite and we are excited to partner it this year with our pumpkin patch! Trunk or Treat features awards for best costume, most original, best couple, and more! You do not need to be present to win – trunkers will vote for treaters and treaters will vote for trunkers! Please just leave your name and a contact phone number at the contact tracing sign in station to collect your prize.
Pumpkin Carving Party
Join us October 31st for a Pumpkin Carving Party! At noon on Halloween we will carve pumpkins together and hear the story of Stingy Jack, the first Jack O’Lantern and why we carve pumpkins and light candles on Halloween night.
Pumpkins will still be available for purchase, but please feel free to bring your own!
